At Green Light Wireless, we are more than just conscious of the day-to-day affects that our culture has on the environment in which we live; we strive on a daily basis to minimize our demand for non-renewable resources as well as work to reduce the waste that is produced as a consequence of our business.

 

It is our policy that the printed materials which we distribute be made up of no less than 25% post-consumer products.  This includes not only our marketing pamphlets, but also our monthly account statements, our bank checks and even the envelopes in which they're mailed.  And because all of our paper products are destined to become waste eventually, we use only soy based inks -- it's just disappointing that there aren't decent biodegradable pigments or dyes yet to put into those inks!

Although our business does not generate a huge demand for electricity, we do our best to utilize solar power at any opportunity we get.  Believe it or not, some of our equipment can run entirely on solar power alone!  Because we do have to plug into the wall sometimes, we do our best to offset our power consumption with credits for renewable energy from companies like Green Mountain.

The final component of our commitment to our environment is YOU, our customer.  Please think about the effects that you have on the environment.  It is not only your responsibility, it is your obligation as a citizen of planet Earth, to turn off your lights, faucets and even your COMPUTERS when you're not using them!
