Green Light Wireless will be upgrading our Oakland tower beginning on Monday, November 26, 2018 and extending to Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
Our Oakland tower is one of our oldest towers and is due for some major upgrades, bringing gigabit technology and IPv6 to our Oakland and surrounding markets.
Because tower climbing and rigging is dangerous and highly weather dependent, we have scheduled a three-day window that our work will take place within, however we will likely only need a portion of this time. As we get closer to the start of this service window we will issue more details about when and if you should expect any service interruptions. Although we will do our best to minimize service interruptions during this time it is likely that there will be some interruptions as we replace our existing infrastructure.
If you have any routine and NON-URGENT questions or concerns regarding this maintenance, please contact us at support@greenwifi.com and reference [Cardigan Tower] in the subject field. A Green Light Wireless engineer will be happy to address your inquiry.
For issues *REQUIRING IMMEDIATE ESCALATION* please contact GLW’s Network Operations Center at (412) 228-3000 and ask to be transferred to the NOC.]
